Hi Stampers, today’s share is created with the Stampin Up A Dozen Thoughts for Stamping and Blogging Sketch #108
and I have another CASE (clean and simple) card for you today. The entire background of the card is Designer Paper – English Garden Designer paper, told you I loved this packet….combined with mats of Night of Navy and a card base of Crumb Cake, I adore this color combo.
Sandi’s Tips & Tricks:
- The sentiment is one of many in “A Dozen Thoughts” (guess how many stamps are in that set haha)….my new “Go To” sentiment set.
- The top stripped piece of paper is a 1″ cut off from another design in the pack, I loved the contrast of the lines against the floral print.
- A piece of Seam Binding Ribbon covers the join and I wrapped Linen Thread over that to match up the color combo and to provide texture.
For the Embellishment I started with a punch out of the Petite Petals flower, added a In Color Blossom Accents Flower and topped it off with a double wrapped Linen Thread Bow.
I like things in threes, so the color of the ink and the flower embellishment matched the center of the big flower on the card.
